Default How to Jailbreak iPhone/iPod 3.1.2 in Windows

    USE AT YOUR OWN RISK
Jailbreaking your iPod Touch, iPhone, etc will ruin your warranty. But there is hope. if for some reason your iPod messes up, you can plug it into your computer to restore it before sending it in.

This works with everything pretty much but people have been experiencing troubles with the iphone 3g

    1) download 3.1.2 frimware for your device, and blackra1n (blackra1n , iPod and iPhone Firmware Download also run the program as administrator if using vista/windows 7, This also works for Mac)

    2) Restore the ipod or iphone to the 3.1.2 Frimware.

    3) Close itunes open blackrain and click "let it rain" (its that simple it jailbreaks. if you get the spinning circle for a long time and is doint nothing click the home and lock buttons at the same time until it restarts and try again, its been reported that it has happened)

    4) Now its jailbroken, all thats needed is to connect to wifi ONLY to go into blackrain app and download cydia. (only download one at a time cause theres icyrock or something and some other thing but dont download those there not needed)

    5) Then your done!

    Thanks to Thomas for tutorial.
