    VLC FTW, I always use it. it's cross plate form pretty stable and most of all support almost all formats ^_^

    I have my VLC settings so that it only shows the video, no ugly window border or buttons. Just pure content.

    I only use VLC on the rare occasion that I don't just use quicklook, quicktime, or iTunes and that is usually when the format isn't supported!

    I use VLC for watching DVDs from different regions. We have quite a few of them, so it's quite useful having VLC in my arsenal. I also occasionally come across .ogv videos which don't even play using Perian for Quicktime.

    vlc is great because of its variety, but in terms of playback i LOATH it! its got even worse coding then QT (in leopard) has!! QTx might be better now thank god
