Default Opera Mac OS X browser review

    hello,

Here i will show you a review of one of the best internet browsers i ever used for mac os x, so let's start with key features:

    1) Speed Dial: when your typing addresses for sites you visit frequently is annoying and time consuming. Opera will put your favorite Web page with just one click.
Speed Dial is a set of visual bookmarks you see when you open a new tab, like a dashboard for your online life. To add a new page, simply click on an empty Speed Dial slot, and Opera will make suggestions based on browsing history and bookmarks.

    2) Search Shortcuts: Get quick access to Google, eBay, Amazon and more with the search field in the upper right corner. Or, for even quicker searching, search directly in the address bar using built-in and customizable keywords.
For example, type "w Opera" in the address bar to search for “Opera” with Wikipedia. You can also create your own Web search from any search field on the Internet, simply by right clicking on a search field and choosing “Create Search”

    3) Trash Can: Instantly reopen recently closed tabs.

bottom line Opera is pretty sable, nice UI and has some nice features, i recommend it for average user

I don't really like opera because its quite heavy and slow depending on the mac. Safari has a speed dial like thing, I have no need for the search, and safari also has the trash can. ON TOP OF THAT, safari is fast and light.

I used to use primarily Firefox, but I switched back to Safari when version 4 was released. I do really really miss the AwesomeBar. I hate the way Safari handles bookmarks. I want to type part of the web page name and have it show up, but it never does. Other than that, I like the speed a lot.

Jmann, yea I guess the awesome is nice, but I just use topsites and coverflow. It takes a lil more clicks to get to, but its pretty cool.

I also set topsites as my homepage.
